Jazz Pianoverse: Roig No. 7

Kemuel Roig performs "A God of Wonders" on the Pianoverse Gran Concerto 278

Award-winning jazz pianist Kemuel Roig plays "A God of Wonders" on the Gran Concerto 278, using some of the inspiring effects included in Pianoverse. The piano sounds stem from a robot-assisted deep multi-sampled 9.5' Fazioli F278 concert grand piano manufactured by Fazioli Pianoforti of Sacile, Italy, just one of 8 stunning pianos in Pianoverse.

We used DPA cardioid microphones for the close miking and DPA Omni microphones for medium-distanced with A-B miking technique to record this spectacular Fazioli at the legendary Fonoprint Studios in Bologna, Italy, within the walls of a 15th-century convent. Have a listen.

The F278 has a rich, powerful sound that's well-suited for both solo and orchestral performances. It's also known for its responsive action and wide dynamic range used by many of the world's leading pianists. Now you can join them.
